Yesterday, we had an Antarctica day where we spent the day doing Antarctica activities, etc. The kids love these educational days we have been doing. Today, I babysat Rose and Bray, the kids love when they come over to play.
Here we did the "Blubber" experiment. The kids put their hands in icy water, then their other hand in a bag of crisco in the same icy water to see how it is not so cold to learn how sea animals survive around Antarctica.
They also did obstacle courses, but the catch was they had to walk like a penguin.
We also talked about how penguins slide and how glaciers carve out valleys, etc.
Life has been so busy between me coaching field hockey, Troy playing football and Angelo coaching it, Angelo back to work, and I'm back babysitting that it's been over a week since I have updated the website. We have been enjoying the last days of summer and have a big week ahead with open houses. I can't believe Troy is going into 2nd Grade and Rosalie to preschool.
Haha, do you think this kid likes William and Mary???
Rosalie and Rose

We had a Pompeii Day, we made a volcano and played volcano games all day.
Waiting while Defense is out
Troy's team played a great game. It looked like the game was about to go into overtime with less than 40 seconds on the clock when the other team scored making it 20-13. The boys played great and I think it's going to be a great season. Troy loves his new position, playing center. I love seeing how enthusiastic about the game he is.

Today was Troy's football jamboree. They did great! I love how much Troy loves football. This year was harder to take good pictures because there are now two little girls to watch after, where last year was just Rosalie and it was HOT. There are still some good ones though. Troy is the Center (he hikes the ball and blocks)
Watching Her Big Brother
This picture needs to be framed!
The High School's Drama Club held a really neat fundraiser. The Disney Princesses were all at a restaurant, so you got to visit while you dined. Troy had a football scrimmage so just the girls went. It was a great time.

Cici is 6 months!!
Cici had such a beautiful baptism. She looked beautiful, we had a great time with Pop, Grandma Annie, and her godparents Uncle Michael and Aunt Barbara. Naturally, she didn't cry and was an angel for the whole ceremony.
Cici And Her Godparents
Troy made this watermelon.
Troy didn't find being put on the fridge quite so funny.
Rosalie did though.
Troy couldn't wait all summer for this day, the first day of football practice!
Rosalie loves her new Frozen jammies
Funny story behind this picture. Daddy fell asleep. While he was sleeping Rosalie put this crown on him. He woke up not realizing it was on. We all got a good laugh out of it.
