Rosalie had quite the fall today. While helping Daddy and Troy make ice cream she tumbled off the chair landing face first on the floor. I have never seen so much blood come from someone so tiny. Her lip immediately bruised. My poor baby is so tough though, she cried for all of 2 minutes and a freezy pop fixed everything.
We had dinner and attempted a bonfire with Brian, Guada, and the kids. We all had a great time! This picture is my all time favorite, everyone is actually looking and happy. This NEVER happens!
After visiting Tina, we stopped at Mommy's cousin, Tara's. They just bought a new gorgeous house. Troy and Rosalie loved playing with their cousin, Callie. We had a great visit and played at the park today before we had lunch and got on the road to head home. Troy was very sad leaving his cousin so Tara and I promised to get together more often, seeing that we are only a few hours apart.
Daddy had to go into D.C. so we used it as an opportunity to finally meet Baby Megan. We had so much fun! I missed Tina so much and wish we could see them all more often. Troy had many firsts this trip. He got to ride a dirt bike with Matt and he got to feed Tina's horse an apple. Rosalie absolutely loved Megan. She was fascinated by her. It was so cute to watch. Also, Rosalie continues to take after her Daddy in the fact that she is not a fan of dogs. She is terrified of them, which is also cute to watch. If Tina's dog took one step toward her, she dropped whatever was in her hands and ran, yelling. It was so much fun and we brought home 12 pounds of blueberries! We froze a bunch and are looking for different recipes to use them in. Helping Daddy Make Frozen YogurtOf course, we have no idea what she is saying, but nonetheless , she is still adorable! Today was Troy's last wiffle ball game. He LOVED it. Since, he was sad to see it end, we signed him up for soccer in the Fall. Since they do not do professional pictures at this age level one of the parent's did her own and I think she did a great job!
Our Best-Man, Rob, came down for a couple of days and we had a mini Cortland Reunion. We went to the Gloucester Renaissance Festival, walked Williamsburg, and went to the beach. We had such a great time and were sad to see him leave.
