Erin came to visit for the long weekend. The kids were so excited, they just love her. We are so lucky that she flew down to see us. Troy also had his first football game of the year. The kids played great, but unfortunately lost in double overtime. Troy made us so proud when he recovered a fumble. It was a shame that they lost after seeing how hard they worked, but the great thing about 6 and 7 year olds was that they didn't seem overly upset by it. Troy already can't wait for practice on Tuesday.
This last week before school starts up we have tried to jam pack with fun stuff. We went to the Children's Museum a day with our friend Ellie and her kids. The kids all had a great time! They played in a Jamboree. Troy did great, we are so proud. They didn't keep score, but it looked like they lost one, tied one, and won one. Unfortunately, the board that is in charge of our league did not want the kids wearing their game jerseys (which look great!) so they opted to wear camo as a team. The greatest part of today was seeing Troy come off the field after each game, grinning from ear to ear. He loves football! We had the beach to ourselves, no jellyfish, or sunburns. It was a perfect beach day! Silly FacesRosalie's good friend, Rose, had her birthday party.
