Family Day at the

Virginia Living Museum.

July 6th- A Family Day Out

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Virginia Living Museum to see the wildlife of Virginia.

First stop, nature trails!

I was still a little tired from the ride so I napped through this part.

The Busy Beaver

The Red Wolf

These guys are endangered, who could harm these cute lil puppies?

The Bald Eagle

Our National Bird, and to think Ben Franklin wanted the turkey!

Opossum

He looks like he likes to snuggle just like me!

The rare Virginian Snugglebug!

The Virginian Snugglebug (latin: Troyius Meatballus) is so rare that this is the only one! He warns off predators with the gases he expells from both ends. Beware, this is his attack face- RUN!!!!

The Owl

Who?? Who??
Im more concerned with When?? When?? When do I get to eat next?

Yikes!!

Snake, Rattle, and Roll!

I sure hope those snakes don't get loose!

Turtles

The turtles are more my speed

eating and lounging around... thats the good life!

So much to look at

I like this place, but those birds sure make Mommy and me nervous.

Those fish are bigger than me!

Mommy and me, sittin on the turtle

Don't worry its not real.

All these bees can't make honey sweet as me!

Daddy's protecting me from the sun.

Maybe someday I'll be a Cortland Red Dragon!

The ride home

Im pooped! What a day!

Were Back!

We had so much fun, we decided to go back with Aunt Courtney, Uncle Pete, and Brooke.

Holy Cow!

Those snakes still scare me!
