Yesterday, we had an Antarctica day where we spent the day doing Antarctica activities, etc. The kids love these educational days we have been doing. Today, I babysat Rose and Bray, the kids love when they come over to play.
Here we did the "Blubber" experiment. The kids put their hands in icy water, then their other hand in a bag of crisco in the same icy water to see how it is not so cold to learn how sea animals survive around Antarctica.
They also did obstacle courses, but the catch was they had to walk like a penguin.
We also talked about how penguins slide and how glaciers carve out valleys, etc.
