We have been so busy with Halloween festivities. We went to a Halloween party at The Family Room, Saturday, we trick or treated on Main St and Sunday we did our neighborhood. Troy was a magician and Rosalie was his bunny. I must say they looked so cute in their costumes!      Main Street Trick or Treating               Halloween Night

Poor Troy took a doorknob to the mouth tonight. There was blood and a fat lip, but nothing a freezypop and the movie Toy Story couldn't fix.   Chocolate-covered Monster Marshmellows This kid has such a love for learning, he goes through preschool workbooks so quickly. Princess Drool! He seems so old when he lays like this. Tonight we carved pumpkins! Troy and Mommy did a traditional one together and Daddy carved a Bunny in a Hat one in honor of the kids Halloween costumes. Troy went on a hayride, saw Santa, and received a balloon animal from Giggles the clown. Afterwards we walked a nice trail at William & Mary and got Italian Ice as a treat. It was a great family day! He is getting so big and is so smart. Rosalie is a real go getter and gets into everything. She is so curious about her world and when caught with something she shouldn't have she just gives this adorable "what?" expression. She is especially fond of shoes, she gets that from Mommy! Today we got together with great friends and made pumpkin bumbo's for the babies and tried our best to get a great picture of all 6 of them. Blurry, but still a cute picture of friends hugging Future Archaeologist Saw this idea on www.notimeforflashcards.com, Troy LOVED it, and as soon as he finished he wanted to make another "glacier" however a 3 year old has a hard time understanding water takes time to freeze. Yes, my itty bitty baby of only 6 months is crawling now. Shes so determined to get anywhere. She does the army crawl just like Troy did. People keep warning me that she'll be an early walker but Im in denial. I need her to stay a little baby as long as possible, time is just going by so quickly!  I almost bought these for Troy because they are supposed to be great for motor skills, but then I realized how simple they would be to make. Troy loves them!   Cornelius We had a great visit with Aunt Trish and Uncle Mike. Troy got to spend Friday with them and Saturday we went pumpkin picking at the Belmont Pumpkin Patch. It was their Sunflower Festival so we got to go on hayrides, go through a corn maze, pick pumpkins, and play on their playground. An added bonus was that we ran into friends there.                 |
