We had a great Thanksgiving with friends. All of the food was delicious and we all enjoyed our company. The kids were drawing Christmas pictures on the windows with window markers, I thought Troy was writing the words, until I noticed it was Rosalie writing and Troy was spelling for her. I think her handwriting is incredible for a 3 year old! Troy's Christmas pictures and a turkey in the bottom window.
Kellie and Brian gave us a weekend away while they watched Troy and Rosalie. We went and spent it in Charlottesville. My cousin, Tara, got us a great deal at a Marriott right across from UVA and we went to Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's house), out to eat, and to see the movie Catching Fire. Sunday, before we drove back, we walked around the UVA campus, which is beautiful. It was such a great weekend! Jefferson's Thinking RoomU.V.AOur hotel was right across the street from the University of Virginia. Walking around campus, I fell in love with it. Is it too early to encourage Troy to have that university as a goal for when he goes to college???
Sometimes I forget that Rosalie is just 3 years old. This picture is better than some Kindergarten drawings. She drew Mommy.Rosalie had fun pranking the boys with her fake nose ring. This little pilgrim is thankful for a week vacation from school for the Holiday!I am lucky that I get to volunteer at Troy's school every other Friday. Today, was a huge pay off, while I was there I got to see Troy and some classmates perform a Thanksgiving play to the Main Office. I also am lucky that I have a few good friends that teach at his school and one sent me this picture.
I finally have time to update the website. Life has just been so busy, although things did open up some when Troy's football season ended. The field hockey team made it to the State Championship Game. I am so proud of the team, although they lost, they have gone farther than any field hockey team has gone in Gloucester High School history. Angelo still is teaching full time and going to class two nights a week and now that our schedules are finally opening up, we signed Rosalie up for gymnastics, which start in December. Anyways, here are pictures from what we have been up to. Flying Kites On A Beautiful DayTroy's First Newspaper DebutTroy and his friend, Connor, at the football banquet.Doing crafts, just the two of them.Troy with his award, letter, and trophies from his team's Sports Award CeremonyRosalie in her story box.She fell in love with a show called "Pinky Dinky Doo" and the girl on it has a story box so Rosalie just had to make one too.
