On our way home we made one last historical stop, Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. It was really neat. This was also where John Brown (who tried to lead a slave revolt against slave owners) was caught.
Troy is fascinated.
Troy's explanation was that it was because we were sitting in front of the confederate flag.
For Troys birthday, we met my cousin, Ian, and his family at Gettysburg. Our hotel was awesome with a mini-golf course inside it, a pool with a water slide, and a basketball court. All of the kids had so much fun, as did the parents! On the way up, we stopped at Antietam. The next day, we did Gettysburg, and Monday on our way home we stopped at Harpers Ferry in WV. It was a great weekend filled with History and family fun!
Troy came home to this note and the kids had a silly string war.

We have been so happy with Rosalie's preschool. The last day of class was Monday and today they had their "May Day" "Our Town" Festival. It was adorable!!! They had dress up, farmer's market, drive in, post office, grocery store, pet shop, soccer field, and many more stations.

Im sad knowing how sad Rosalie is about this day. She absolutely loves school!
Look at how much she has grown!
We spent the day in Hampton today. We went to Fort Monroe, watched Aunt Kellie's softball game, Daddy got fitted for his suit for Kellie and Brian's wedding and we went to Mooyah's for dinner. It was a fun day!
