This year we got season passes to Water Country. We didn't tell Troy that Rosalie and I went today, but we may take him this weekend and will go all the time once school is out.

We had such a fun weekend seeing people we don't get to see often. Saturday, we went to my cousin, Matt's wedding. It was a beautiful and fun wedding. Rosalie danced all night. The kids had a great time playing with cousins and swimming at the hotel pool. Sunday, we went to Mary Washington's (George Washington's mother) house with my cousin Ian, his wife Melissa, and their 3 kids. The kids all love playing together. Sunday we went to my college friend, Tina's house for her daughter's 2nd birthday party. We got to see her family and Kellie and Brian, whom we all love. The kids also loved playing with the triplets and Megan. It was such a fun filled weekend!

Our baby turned 6 today! Where has the time gone?? I think he had a great day. He woke up to his room filled with balloons, came downstairs and got to open his Birthday presents. He got The Rancor (from Star Wars) Lego Set, A Batman Lego Book, some super hero stamps and Rosalie got him Bane. We brought in Iron Man cupcakes for his class at lunchtime. When Troy got home Great Grandma and Great Grandpa were here. He got more presents and after dinner we did cake and ice cream. The day went by way too quickly (just like the past 6 years have.) One thing has never changed, how proud he makes us! He is such a great kid.

Today, Guada and I had plans to take the kids to Water Country to celebrate Troy's Birthday. Unfortunately, we found out after promising the kids that they were closed today. The kids really were looking forward to these plans so we decided to spend the day at Buckroe Beach. It is such a great beach in Hampton, VA because the beach is nice and it has a really nice playground. We ended the day with stopping for icecream. It was such a great day, now it is setting in that tomorrow we no longer have a 5 year old. Troy turns 6!

Sunday, we went to Kellie's and met her new puppy "Oakley." He is so sweet and so calm. The kids loved him, even Rosalie which is huge b/c she is terrified of dogs.     Today was a busy, fun day. We went to the Virginia Institute of Marine Science Discovery Day. It was very crowded but a lot of fun. We learned a lot about marine life and it was geared towards kids. Then, Troy slept over at Brian and Guada's and Clara slept here with Rosalie. The girls decorated cupcakes, painted nails, played make up and lots more. They were so cute together. Clara is the big sister that Rosalie doesn't have. The boys had fun playing Star Wars, Wii, and just being boys.

Angelo had a great birthday. I took the kids shopping the day before and gave the kids complete free reign (just within a price) to pick out gifts. They loved it and their gifts were so cute. The Kids With Their Gifts For Daddy Troy Bought Daddy Iron Man Legos Rosalie Picked Out Spices And A SuperMan Cup The Porcupine Card Rosalie Made For Troy The Picture Of Troy That Rosalie Drew Slipping And Sliding (Before the blow-out that resulted in a store run for a new slip-n-slide.)  Yelling Her Favorite Saying "Best Day Ever!"As Soon As Troy Got Off The Bus He Couldn't Wait To Slip & Slide.  Rosalie, Always Being The Goofball Our rose bush looks so great, Troy wanted to take his teachers roses.

Today was such a nice Mother's Day. After church, we spent the day in Williamsburg shopping, out to lunch, and walked the beach a little bit. It was a perfect family day! Blessed with the two best kids!
Sweet Troy wrote this for me in the sand. This is after telling me "Im so happy your my Mommy, your the best Mommy in the world." Love him so much!!!
