We spent Easter today with great friends. We ate a nice lunch at Legends (by the airport) then went back to their house and did an egg hunt, visited ,and did dinner.
We awoke to fallen snow!
The Bunny Came!!! Cici opted to not be in the picture.
Out for Easter Lunch With Friends
Easter Egg Hunt
Snow is all melted and it was warm out.
We have had so much fun preparing for Easter between dying eggs, playing in the Jacuzzi , and today we went to the Easter Eggstravaganza at the zoo.
Playing In The Jacuzzi.
Our Little Old Lady- crazy hair, eating tomatoes, and playing dominoes.
Cici didn't cry for the bunny, but I had to hold her which is better than I thought she would do.
Our neighbors, who's son Troy instantly became good friends with, are moving. They will only be about 10 minutes away, but we'll miss them. The kids play almost daily, but we will still do playdates with them.
The Kansas Wildfire. It was 100 miles away, but we could smell the smoke and the sky looked like this. Over 400,000 acres of land has burned.
I bought the kids these rockets on an impulse buy. They have had so much fun with them.
Easter Eggs- not 100% done. I'll post pictures of the finished products.
Our poor Troy has Impetigo :( It has not changed his happy spirit at all.
Today we decided to explore Kansas. We went to Dodge City (where Wyatt Earp kept the law over the wild cowboys) and the Gypsum Hills. It was a great day trip.
The Spanish explorer Coronado came this far exploring through Mexico .
Men too poor to afford a proper burial were buried in shallow graves on the hill.
The Peep Show (don't worry we didn't put $ in)
The Gypsum Hills
Today was a great and beautiful day. Temperatures were in the high 70s. We went to the Wichita Humane Society so Cici could see the dogs and cats. She was so excited. Afterwards we checked out the Wichita State University campus. We saw the original Pizza Hut building. We loved it and are officially shockers fans!
