Rosalie's Birthday

4/11/2011

Rosalie had a great 1st Birthday. She started it off by opening a gift from her big brother. Troy got her a baby doll and stroller set. We spent the day outside playing in the 80 degree weather and Grandma and Grandpa came from Florida for her Birthday. We ended the day having cake with Eric, Kathy, Grandma, Grandpa, and us. I cant believe my baby is 1!!!

Stored in the oven so there would be counter space. Mommy forgot they were there and preheated the oven.

I fixed one cupcake for Rosalie to eat.

Luckily, the grandparents picked up an icecream cake earlier in the day.

For Spring Break, we came to Buffalo! It has been a great visit even though we got snow! The kids love playing with all of their cousins.

Day 3

Today was another great day in Western NY! We went to Butterwoods, an upscale famous bakery who delivers to clients such as The Queen of England, many NFL, NHL, MLB banquets, etc. It was just as amazing as you would imagine. Then for dinner we went to Aunt Sharon's, which was delicious. We had a great time visiting and the kids loved playing with their cousins.

Rosalie slept through the whole visit at the bakery. She loves this duck toy. It walks and sings and she just bursts out laughing every time, its the cutest thing!

Even though it snowed, we still had a great day! We had lunch with Aunt Rita and Suzy and then dinner with the Sullivan's. It was great to see the kids play together and have so much fun.

Day 5

Today, we had so much fun. We played with Chloe in the morning, met Mommy's friend Erin from college for lunch, shopped the Galleria Mall and Border's, then had dinner with a bunch of Mommy's friends from high school. The kids all played so well together. This has been such a great trip!

The kids loved playing on the rides so much that they didn't even ask for quarters to put in them.

I hope this isn't predicting lots of speeding tickets in her future!

Day 7

Our last day in NY. We had a great trip. Troy loved Grandma and Peepa's apartment so much, he did not want to come home. Of course we had to make one more stop at Charlaps for icecream before our long drive home.

That is the best way to explain Troy and Rosalie. They are goofy, smiley, silly and fun.

Photo Editing

It goes without saying, I love taking pictures. (Mostly of my beautiful children) I finally have decided to dive into photo editing and I think I'm hooked. I am a long way from professional pictures, but I think with more practice they will get better. It's just another hobby. Here are my first experiments.

Since it was chilly today, Daddy stayed home with Rosalie and Mommy took Troy to the festival. We watched the parade with friends, saw Llamas, received tons of candy, and had a great time!

Rosalie

Rosalie is so busy that walking is just too boring for her. She prefers climbing. Today, while folding laundry I turned my back for just a moment and when I turned back, this is what I found. I seriously need eyes in the back of my head. Hours later she climbed into the play shopping cart. She is always so proud of herself after her daring feats.

Annual Spring Photo Shoot

3/23/2011

Since I have been a mother, I have taken Troy to the Courthouse to take pictures with the flowers blooming. This was Rosalie's first year. The lesson I learned was that it is HARD to capture both smiling at the same time. It never failed when one smiled, the other made a goofy face. The pictures still look good, but that is simply because of the cute subjects.
