Troy decided that he wanted to play baseball which we are thrilled about since we won't let him play football until he is in high school. We have read too many studies on brain damage related to youth football. Rosalie slept over at Kellies and got to play field hockey and spent the day at her work since they are doing a preschool camp.  Off To Her Sleep Over At Aunt Kellies

I think Troy outgrew this costume, it didn't stop him from wearing it though.   As we try and do Virginia history things one last time before we move, we went to the Fredericksburg area and went to the Fredericksburg battlefield and Chatam Manor. We tried the Apothecary again, but they were closing when we got there. After the historical sites we met my cousin, Tara, her husband, Derek, and their daughter, Callie, for dinner. It was a great time.      The Chamber Chair at The Chatam House. George Washington, Robert E. Lee, Thomas Jefferson and many more all went to the bathroom on this chair! Later home owners had the chair seat fixed. The hole in the floor beneath is was for the chamber pot.   A replica of a pontoon bridge used by Union troops.    Wearing Their George Washington Masks  With Cousin Callie at Red Robin Cousins!! We had an amazing experience yesterday at Jamestown. A friend, who works there, took us behind the scenes to look at artifacts dug up and being examined. We all learned so much.           Yesterday we went to Bluebird Gap Farm and then spent the rest of the day with Aunt Kellie and today we went to the Portsmouth Children's Museum with friends. Both days were a lot of fun! While preparing for our move to Wichita, we got the rental house we wanted! It is just outside of Wichita in a little suburb called Goddard. Also our house here sold after being on the market for 1 day!! We are so excited (and overwhelmed, so much is happening and there is still so much to do.) We decided to enjoy some local things and went to Colonial Williamsburg today.                  The story behind these pictures below. Angelo and I had our wedding pictures done at Colonial Williamsburg. The guys had a picture done all flexing in front of this building.   We have been so overwhelmed with the house on the market, the upcoming move, etc. that I haven't had the time to update frequently. Today, we went swimming at friends' house. We had a lot of fun! Our Little Dude You know you've been in Gloucester too long when your Daddy duct tapes a ripped diaper       It's hard to believe that our Troy will be a 3rd Grader! Today was his last day ever at Gloucester County Public Schools. We have been so lucky with amazing teachers throughout his time at Botetourt.
      Sorry for the delay in updating. Our computer crashed :( We got a new one today so I will be updating throughout the week again. Of course things have been incredibly busy as we put our house on the market and prepare to move to Wichita. In case you haven't heard, Angelo accepted a position at Newman University located in Wichita, Kansas. We are incredibly excited, but also a little nervous about moving so far away and the new adventures that await. Here is what we have been up to the past week. While Troy went with Daddy on a school field trip to D.C. , the girls had fun and in the evening went to the beach.         They are on a huge Civil War kick right now. |
