Today, we went to the Kennedy Space Center. It's been over 20 years since I've been and from what I remember it has changed a lot. It was so interesting! We also got to see the last Space Shuttle (which makes it's last launch in a week).
This weekend Grandma, Aunt Beena, and MiMi came to visit. We had a great time! We walked around Williamsburg on Sunday and the beach on Monday.
Santa stopping by on his summer vacation.
Today, we went to a pirate party at the library. Troy made an adorable pirate. They played games, did crafts, ate banana split pirate ships, and received tons of fun stuff. The kids had to dress like pirates so while we were getting his gear together he had his heart set on a spider-man shirt. I held up another shirt and his reply was "Mom, that shirt is like 20 years old!" Ummm did he forget he is four???
They made pirate hats
Apparently a pirate's life is not for Rosalie
Yesterday we went to the Mathews Library and had a picnic lunch at the playground.
Rosalie has such beautiful curls!
If this isn't scary enough, she proceeds to jump off, belly-flopping onto the mattress, laughing the whole time.
Troy had his first wiffle ball game tonight. It was adorable! He is a natural. I was nervous going to the game that he wouldn't participate or would be overly shy, but he was so great. He did anything asked by the coaches, ran his heart out, and played great. Tonight when we were reading books before bed, Troy said "Wiffle Ball is really cool!" I loved it!
Diving to get a ground ball! He sure plays hard!

Daddy had a great Fathers Day! His favorite gift was the book Troy and Rosalie made him. It was filled with some of his favorite pictures from the past few months and pictures of DAD spelled out with several of their favorite toys. The best part of the book was each page had a Daddy question that I asked the kids and their real responses. His favorite responses were to "Is Daddy Smart?" which Troy replied "No, I am" and to "What does Daddy like to do?" Rosalie replied "Cheese!" In the afternoon we went to a cookout at Brian and Guada's house and our tradition of going to Short Lane Ice Cream for dessert. We have been going on Father's Day since 2008!

Since Daddy had class, we went to the member night at the zoo. We had such a great time. Rosalie loves the animals and I think Troy's highlight was when a zookeeper doing a demonstration asked if he wanted to hold the elephant turd. Thankfully, Troy declined.
More Fierce Than Any Tiger There!
We went back to our new favorite beach! Most of these pictures are compliments of Guada. She takes great pictures!
Rosalie and Rose (the little girl I babysit) are becoming such great friends. They were so cute together today. Rosalie is really going to miss Rose this summer.
My favorite picture!
We tried out a new beach today. Misti Cove in Mathews, VA. It's no more than 15 minutes from our house and by far our favorite beach so far. We plan on returning tomorrow. It's shallow for a long way out and the water is warm. Rosalie (who normally hates going in the water at beaches) wouldn't stay out. I figured we would just play in the sand since it was only in the low 80s so I didn't even bring her suit. Tomorrow, I will be better prepared.
Today, two of our neighbors had their graduation parties. We had a great time at both. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures from Trista's due to the storm that rolled in, but the kids had a great time swimming at Matt's.
