We are getting a glimpse this week of what it will be like running from practice to practice when the kids are older. Rosalie has gymnastics from 2-4 and Troy has football from 6-8. Both of the kids have such a love for sports (of course coming from the two of us this is no surprise.)
Today, I took the kids to hike the trails at Beaverdam Park. We had a great time and hiked for an hour and a half. We probably would have went longer, but poor Rosalie has short legs so I figured she had to be getting tired. The kids didn't complain once on the hike. They loved it and made me promise to take them back. We came across this bush filled with butterflies.Monday was Troy's first football practice. He came off the field smiling and excited to go back. I love his enthusiasm for it. Off to his first practice.Being Goofy!Erin and some "Super" kidsLook At That Strong Guy! I love it here.Today, we went to Amish Country with Grandma and Aunt Sharon. It is so neat how these people live. I haven't been in years and it was Angelo's first time. He loved it. We bought some great foods. I have some more pictures on my phone and once I figure out how to get them on my computer I'll add them.
We are running out of ideas of things to do this summer with all of this rain we have been having. Today, we decided to visit the Children's Museum. It was a great time. The "Minion" that Troy drew from the Despicable Me movies.Yesterday, we hung out in Williamsburg and today just enjoyed a quiet day at home. Today, they played so well together. Hopefully, they are turning the corner on sibling fighting.Today, Troy and Clara did a lemonade stand. It was adorable. They did all of the waiting on and serving customers themselves and made a much bigger profit than we anticipated. They had a lot of fun!
