Troy couldn't be bothered tonight to take pictures, more important things like The Lion King were on, but Im going to try to get him tomorrow. An update on Troy is that he is riding his bike with training wheels great and we took them off just for a little practice without. He made a deal with us that each day he will practice riding his bike without training wheels for a little bit. My first baby is growing up!
Inspired by the urgent need to save America's education due to the lack of funding, today was filled with fun educational activities. I posted most of those pictures in the craft section, but here are some others.
Fun Straws With Fruit Snacks Frozen In Ice
I can't get over how blue her eyes are. How did we get such a beautiful daughter?
Troy's Reading Nook
Making Muffins (well, the kids are on the clean up crew)
Ok, its no secret that taking pictures of my family is one of my favorite hobbies. Today, I decided to buy a paneled flooring to take more "professional" looking pictures with. Backdrops will be next on my list.
Not Jumping On The Band Wagon, just supporting NY family!
Wearing Troy's Hat
Fun With A Box- Airplanes
These kids are so much fun!
Our problem, the smallest undies they make are 18 month and they are still too big. She also insisted on wearing a pair as a hat.
Mommy's Big Helper
Rosalie really enjoys the time when Troy is at school and she gets all of the attention. She really is such a sweet girl. I love our "girl time" together. Today we played outside and she was hamming it up for the camera.
Swinging Like A Big Girl
Troy let me take one (and only one) picture of him. He's getting so big!
Here the kids are playing Hide and Seek. They are hiding in the closet. It's hilarious that Rosalie thinks we can't find her when her eyes are closed. I tried this picture about 5 times and her eyes were closed in every one.
It makes me happy how much they love each other.
Finally Rosalie is healthy. It was also warm so we took advantage and played outside a lot. It was windy so it was a perfect kite day!
The License Plate Pajama Pants I Sewed Troy
They are pretty wild, but he loves them!
Rosalie And The Cat Staring Each Other Down
What We Will Look Like In 60 Years. (This picture is back from when we were just dating)
I haven't posted in a few days because I have had no free time. Our poor Rosalie came down with strep throat. Apparently children cannot get it under 2 years old, yet her test came back positive. I guess she's advanced? Anyways the Dr. prescribed her Amoxicillin, however the amount prescribed was too high for her small size and we ended up in Urgent Care with her. Finally after 4 days, she is back to her cute little self.
Santa Brought These Fun Straws That You Build With
So serious when building Thomas Train Tracks
Troy Drew Me A Field Hockey Stick!
She loves to put stickers over her eyes- haha she's so silly!
I introduced Troy to the doo-rag to help keep his construction worker hat on.
A little blurry, but even though he's getting bigger he is still so darn cute!
We missed this smile these past few days
My sewing creation! I still have a long way to go, but I am getting better. These are just fun ruffle pants, but Rosalie has some growing to do first. Next on the block is sewing Troy pajama pants.
