Kellie was able to score free Disney On Ice tickets! We surprised the kids by not telling them until they figured it out when we pulled in the parking lot. It was a great show!
Daddy, the kids, and Kellie made sure that I had the best birthday. After Troy's game we went to the Guinea Jubilee (a festival) and then went shopping in Newport News. Afterwards, the kids spent the night at Kellie's and we went out for pizza and a movie. Off To Sleep Over At Aunt Kellie'sBoy or Girl????Girl!!!!!!This picture took no prompting. Troy wanted a brother, Rosalie wanted a sister. We know that Troy will warm up to having another little sister and he will continue to be a great big brother.
Since Angelo is working on his comps for his doctoral degree, we wanted to give him uninterrupted time at home to work. I took the kids on an adventure today after church. We went to find Bethel Beach in Mathews. (We haven't been in years.) Not only did we find it and see the lighthouse, we had a nice picnic lunch on the beach and had fun "exploring." The Lighthouse!She keeps us laughing for sure!My Loves!Today, the White Mites beat Tri-River 33-13. The kids played great! Afterwards, we went out for lunch then came home and played in the leaves. I love Fall!!
Tonight, all of the Gloucester Youth Football League teams went to the High School football game and were introduced at halftime. We all had a great time, especially since the Dukes won their first game of the season! Troy loved sitting with his teammates and watching the game. The White Mites and other GYFL teams being introduced.It's officially the beginning of Fall, we made our first batch of apple crisp. Rosalie helped make it and the boys LOVED eating it. Also, it is time that we can't live in flip flops anymore so Rosalie got a new pair of sneakers. She picked them out herself and is so excited that they light up. Making Apple CrispTroy's football team won their first game today 21-7. All of the boys played so great. Also they gave a few trophies after the game and Troy got "Best Offensive Lineman."
