Temperatures were in the 70's today so we met friends at the park.
Rosalie has figured out how to climb out of her crib. We knew this was coming so we transitioned her crib into a toddler bed. We anticipated it to be a difficult transition for her, but couldn't risk her getting hurt climbing out. She is having a hard time getting used to the bed and we have found her on the floor often, but she will adjust. Found her on the floor instead of her bed again!I painted Rosalie's toes a week ago, apparently she tried to do them with marker. The car caddy I sewed for Troy. I love it and have already started on Rosalie's.We went to the zoo for the last time on our season pass. We went with our friends Heidi, Ryan and their son, A.J. It was a little chilly, but we still had a great time. It looks like she heard a tiger was on the loose!Yesterday, we went to the park with friends and had a great time. Unfortunately, the weather was so great today so we had friends over to play. She just loves her brother!Happy Children!Since Troy's class had "Seuss Week" last week, Troy has been asking for nonstop Suess books. He counted them in his collection and had 26! Thank you Aunt Kellie! Our Little Scholar Has Also Been Into Planets. We've been doing his planet puzzle daily and then he drew the solar system! I must say he did a great job!! I just did the labeling, he did ALL of the rest. Im so proud!Astronomy has always been a big interest of mine. I did get Troy hooked on finding Orion in the sky at night, but this amazes me- his interest and his artwork! I am not going to lie though, it hurt a little bit to leave Pluto out. Playing Whack-A-MoleShopping Cart RidesTroy And Daddy Made This T-RexDaddy bought the kids these surprises. Troy got a volcano which bubbles away into a dinosaur and Rosalie got a egg that hatches into a turtle. Daddy is teaching Troy how to play chess and I must say, he is pretty good!Troy discovered that he can give Rosalie piggy back rides.Gearing Up For Spring- Making Spring GlassesThe Final ProductHaving A Little Geography LessonThis game the kids invented. Troy is UNDER the box. They actually fought over who got to be the "trapped" person, but took turns. It's amazing the smile that new batteries can bring to a child's face.We spent some of this beautiful day at Kidsburg Park in Williamsburg. The kids had so much fun! Also this morning, as I was painting my toenails, Rosalie begged for me to paint hers too. I did and she looked so cute with them, she couldn't wait to show Daddy. Coz with painted toenailsThis slide was so steep and so fast!I love Angelo's face in this one! He says it was encouraging the kids, but I think he was scared. :)Troy On The Zip Line |
